Have you met Lina, our awesome ambassador at KTH and Kosterhavet? We had a chat with her about what to do in the area around her student accommodation.
Lina, where do you go when you want to go for a walk?
– I go to Lill-Jansskogen! It’s a forest where one can run or walk. There are several different tracks to choose from, depending on how far and when one wants to go for a run or walk. It’s such a luxury to live close to Stockholm’s city center and have Lill-Jansskogen just around the corner at the same time.
Cool! And if you crave a coffee or something sweet?
– Well, firstly I want to push for The Coffice in our building on Drottning Kristinas Väg 36A. It’s close to home and they have really student friendly prices. Also, Bullar & Bröd, which is about a 10-minute walk from my place, has great sweets and buns! Earlier this year, I stood in line for 45 minutes for their semla – it’s that good.
Lina studies law at Stockholms Universitet and has worked as student ambassador alongside her studies for just over two years. Lina hasn’t decided exactly what to do after she finishes school, and we don’t either. But until then, we’re super happy to have her as our co-worker!

At Colonia, Kosterhavet and Nobelus, there are student ambassadors who work for us a few hours per week, alongside their studies. The student ambassadors live at the student accommodation where they work and can answer questions, organize activities, and be a friendly face. If you want to get in touch with your ambassador, send an e-mail to colonia.student@byggvesta.se, kosterhavet.student@byggvesta.se or nobelus.student@byggvesta.se. Also, if you feel like the student ambassador job would suite you, send an e-mail to livetogrow@byggvesta.se!
