We know, we know, meal prepping is one of the most common money and time saving tips on the www. It might feel boring, but trust us, when that Swedish winter hits you and you’ve got four assignments to do plus a test to study for, having prepared your meals for the week will feel like a gift.
To not make things too hard, cook a couple of different dishes which share one or more ingredients – beans, lentils, rice – you get it. That way, you don’t have to cook from scratch twice. Chop the onions and veggies for all your dishes at once and cook your pasta or whatever at the same time. When you get many different left overs, put them all in a tortilla and you get another meal – more often than not the different dishes go well together.
Meal prepping is also great if you have a hard time getting up in the morning: pre-made sandwiches, muesli muffins or overnight oats are super easy and quick … and they’re great for when you need to run to class!
